Friday afternoon we left for a weekend in Vermont. We always have a great time up there and this trip was no exception. the kids all got to hang out together and the adults got to hang out and relax also, well, as much as you can relax with 4 kids running around. The weather forecasts were way off but turned out to be better than expected so even that worked out nicely for us. Saturday it was supposed to rain and we decided to go bowling and indoor mini-golfing instead of skiing and of course it turned out to be 55 and sunny all day which allowed us to grill out even though it cooled off once the sun went down. Sunday was supposed to be sunny and cool so we decided to try skiing then and it turned out to be 30 and snowing pretty heavily all day. But of course you need snow to ski, and the nice weather the day before was just a bonus so it all worked out.
