The conquest of Mount Washington continues! First it was Grammy Betty on the auto road and now my mom finally ran out of excuses and lived up to her promise to try and hike up. Apparently she didn't know if she could make it but I wanted her to try so we were joined by Aunt Cindy and Matthew for the trip up the Tuckerman Ravine Trail, a 4.2 mile hike with a huge 4250 feet of vertical climbing over some rough terrain. I was proud of her just for trying but we made it up successfully and some of us even had fun, or at least I did. The weather wasn't ideal but it was dramatic and just what the mountain is known for.
