Fall & The Holiday's Begin
Well it's been a really long time since my last update. Busy busy busy with the holidays and everything the girls have going on these days. Brooke is doing gymnastics and acting classes, Emily has gymnastics and Daisies, Ashley quit gymnastics but still has a lot going on for a 3 year old and there's plenty more that has kept us busy. Halloween, Thanksgiving three holiday parties so far and a lot more shopping, celebrating, eating, drinking and being merry coming up. That's the short version, so click here for a few pictures from what we've been up to for the last 6 weeks or so. That's all for now!

10 Years & Changing Seasons
Well it's been a really long time since my last post, so a lot has happened and there's a ton of pictures to share. To sum it up Jen and I celebrated our 10th anniversary on the 7th and went away to the Adirondacks for a few days. Summer came to an end and we spent Labor Day weekend with the Griffins on some beaches and doing some hiking. We toured the fairy houses in Portsmouth with the Vermont Fieldsends and the Walkers. We've also been on some hikes and the foliage around here was great this year when it finally arrived. Russell turned 90 years old last week and his whole family from all over got together for the occasion so it was great to see everyone, even if it was a quick visit with some. Travis announced the newest member of our family will be a girl. And that's about it I think. There's pictures of most of it (and LOTS of them!) so if you want to check any or all of that out click on the appropriate album link below. That's all for now!

Winnipesaukee And More Summer Fun!!
Well that is about it for another summer. Unofficially it's over, as the girls started school today. Brooke was excited to be going to a new school and Emily was excited to be starting kindergarten in a new school as well. They both hopped on the bus together this morning and off they went! Both said they had a great first day so that was awesome, and hopefully it continues to be just as good for them. There's a few pics from their first day back here if you'd like to see them.
To finish up summer we had our second week of vacation this year, which, while just a bit different this year because of being short handed at work and the really hot weather, was still a lot of fun. What better place to spend a week than at Lake Winnipesaukee when it's 95 degrees out?! We got to have campfires, swim, jet ski, go for boat rides, go to the drive in movies, fish, watch the meteor showers, kayak and more. The girls had a fun week playing with Cam and Brandon and they all got along great. We even got a visit from Jason and Daniella along with Sebastian, so along with the regular crowd we got to relax and hang out with a big chunk of the family. Normally we go for a day trip somewhere and a hike but it was so hot we stayed close to the water all week, so there are a lot of pictures of kids jumping and swimming among other things, and if you want to see them you can find them all right here.
For the last few days of summer we took the girls on a hike up Mt. Kearsarge to celebrate the park service's 100th birthday. If you said happy birthday to them you got in to the NH state parks for free last Thursday, which did us no good as we already have the annual parks pass license plate, but we had a fun little hike anyhow, and you can find some pics from that here.
And finally Saturday my parents watched the kids while Jen and I went up to tube the Saco River for Danny's 30th birthday outing. It was a great day for it with warm but not too hot temps and plenty of sunshine, and we spent about 6 hours floating down the river with some floating provisions and music to enjoy as we bobbed along. Lots of fun and a great way to finish off the summer for the adults! :D So for some pics from that you can click here.

Ashley Turns 3, Vacation In Acadia & Summer Fun!!
Hope you are all having a great summer. We sure are! :-) It took me a couple weeks to get everything sorted from the annual summer camping trip to Acadia but I've finally sorted the pictures out from our trip. We had a week of great weather, actually unusually hot for up there at 84-86 degrees every day, but it was great for the lake and beaches. Kind of warm for hiking so we didn't do quite as much as we usually do, but we mixed in whale watching, horse drawn carriage rides, sea glass hunting and plenty more. We all had a great time and as usual it went by way to fast. There's a lot of pictures to tell the tale so I won't ramble on, but if you want to see them all you can click right here.
Before we left Ashley turned 3 on the 1st of July and we went to see the Little Mermaid in Prescott Park before heading up the coast to LL Bean for their 4th of July celebration. The heat wave started when we were on vacation and lasted for a few weeks, so since we've been back we have spent a lot of time at the beaches and White Lake keeping cool. We mixed in some small hikes to pick blueberries and a ride on the Silver Lake Rail Road. There's a bunch of pictures from all that also and you can find the birthday and 4th of July pics here. The rest of the summer fun pics are here from the lakes and beaches and whatnot. Next week we're headed up for the annual trip to Lake Winnipessaukee so there should a lot more to see when we get back and I get all those sorted out, so check back in a little bit.
