Everyone see the full moon this weekend?

Just in case you missed it I was playing around with my camera and got some decent shots that I never could have gotten before the new camera arrived. HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Well 2009 is here. This years finale was pretty low key. There was tons and tons of food, a small tasting of beers, a champagne toast and a quick exit after that for most. We enjoyed it but I didn't get any pictures of that so today I have a bunch of pictures from our trip up to Vermont and a few more from around here over the last few days. I'm still figuring out all the settings on the camera so some of the pictures didn't come out as planned. Some are a little out of focus, others have some weird halo effect around the bright highlights because of the aperture on the lens I was using I hope. I've been playing around with it and figured out how to avoid it so for the most part they are pretty good. Anyhow happy new year to everyone and thanks for checking in with us in 2009.
